Pentewen Sands
Pentewen sands is a south east facing sandy beach and is mostly private owned by the holiday park located at the top of the beach. Although the beach is mostly private owned it is open for public use. Access is via the northern end at the former harbour, now silted up and out of action. Launching is possible in low swell and provides good access to Mevagissey Bay. Clean ground predominates although some rough ground can be found around Black Head to the North East if your willing to paddle a little further.
