Harlyn Bay & Trevone Bay

Two sandy North Westerly facing beaches located on the inside of Trevose Head. Both beaches are exposed to the swell so launching is only safe when the swell is low.

Parking: Pay and display parking at both Harlyn Bay and Trevone Bay at the very top of the beach. At low tide it can be a very long walk to the water.

Species: Flatfish, Gurnards, Whiting, Codling and the occasional ray over clean ground close to shore. Bass, Pollack and Wrasse towards and around Trevose Head but beware of strong tidal flows on spring tides! Broken ground can be found to the left of the cove around Gurley Rock.

Nearest Tackle Shops: Padstow Angling Centre at Padstow and Art of Fishing at Wadebridge

Webcam: Harlyn Bay Webcam

Swell and Weather Forecast: Magic Seaweed Harlyn Bay (see below)
