Mullion Cove
Mullion Cove is located on the Eastern side of Mounts Bay and is well exposed to prevailing swell. Launching is only safe when there is very low swell. Big swells often smash over the harbour wall. Launching is from within the harbour, but parking can be difficult. Broken and Rough ground is found close to the cliffs but deep clean ground can be found further out.
Parking: A small pay and display car park is located approx. 350m uphill of the harbour.
Species: Wrasse can be caught around the cliffs and harbour over rough ground. Conger and Bull Huss are a possibility if anchored over rough or broken ground. Plaice, Dabs, Turbot, Gurnards, Whiting, Codling and Pouting are all possible to drift fished baits over the clean ground further out. Big Small Eyed Ray are also a possibility of fishing at anchor. Mackerel, Garfish and Scad in season.
