Port Gaverne
A small northerly facing sandy cove nestled between cliffs. The cove can funnel in swell making launching difficult when a swell is running, so launching is only safe in low swell.
Parking: Parking can be difficult at Port Gaverne. A few spaces can be found near to the waters edge at the top of the cove but would require an early launch to secure a parking space.
Species: Good Bass and Pollack over the reefs to the left of the coves. Flatfish, Gurnards and Whiting over sandy ground. Several wrecks can found in Port Issac Bay, fishing these may produce Pollack, Ling and Conger.
