Port Quin
A tiny North Westerly facing cove opening out into Port Quin Bay - a sandy bay with headlands and reefs either side. You can launch a kayak from the concrete slipway when the swell is low. The lower harbour is mainly rock at low tide. Launching charges apply with £2 listed for kayaks.
Parking: A small National Trust car park is located at the top of the slipway
Species: Flatfish, Gurnards, Whiting and the odd codling to drift fished baits in Port Quin Bay. The occasional Ray may show when fishing at anchor. The headlands either side of the bay are well known bass marks but beware of fast tidal flows on spring tides.
