I must stress that i have not been to or launched from all of these places so detailed information on the best conditions and expected species cannot be given in all cases. Most of these venues i know have been fished by kayak fisherman. The list provides a starting point to go and explore these venues but it is up to you to decide whether or not conditions are safe enough to allow you to safely launch, paddle, fish and land back at the venue. Take the time to study weather forecasts, swell forecasts and tidal conditions before venturing out.
Click on the images below to view the launch venues on each section of Cornwall's coast or explore the interactive google map and click on the venue markers for links to more information

Liam - many many thanks for taking the time to put this information together. We're heading down to Cornwall in a couple of weeks and have been searching around for the best places to launch from. What you've done has helped us massively!

We're heading down to Treen, a small campsite close to the Minnack theatre (we have tickets for a performance) Thought this would give us a good base to do either North or South Coast. We really want to paddle (and fish) Porthcurno

I know the area around Treen very well, the area is my favourite place in Cornwall! Your within easy reach of Lamorna, Porthcurno, Porthgwarra and Sennen. What date do you get down, I will look at the tides and forward you some recommendations

This is great information. 70 potential locations is a lot of opportunities. Can't wait to share this information. Comments are closed.
